To register for your Level 2 exam, you need to have passed Level 1.
Level II CFA® Exam Structure
- The Level II exam consists of 22 item sets, each based on a vignette (case study), accompanied by a total of 88 multiple-choice questions.
- Item sets are designed to test your ability to apply concepts and analytical skills in real-world scenarios.
- The total exam time is 4 hours and 24 minutes, divided into two sessions of 2 hours and 12 minutes each.
- An optional break is provided between the sessions.
The Level II CFA® exam will be offered three times in 2024, in May, August, and November.
This format focuses on applying advanced investment management concepts, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for complex professional challenges.
