CFA
The Chartered Financial Analyst Program
Overview
Do you strive to be more successful in your career? The program is the gold standard in finance credentials, designed for experienced finance professionals wanting to take their career to the next level.
The CFA qualification is a “globally recognised, graduate level curriculum that links theory and practice with real-world investment analysis and portfolio management skills.” The program focuses on portfolio management, asset valuation, financial reporting and corporate finance. The CFA Program consists of a series of three examinations (Levels I, II, and III) that are offered annually in June, except for Level I candidates who also have the option of sitting for the exam in December.
Regardless of your prior qualifications or experience, no exemptions are granted for any level of the CFA® Program. To enroll in Level I, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Hold a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree, or
- Near-Graduation Status: Be within 23 months of graduating with a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree, or
- Work Experience: Have four years of full-time professional work experience (not necessarily investment-related).
Note : While four years of non-investment-related work experience allows you to start the program, you must submit three years of relevant work experience to be awarded the CFA Charter. This experience can be gained before, during, or after completing all CFA exams.
The CFA® Program is rigorous and designed to build expertise, ensuring all candidates meet the required professional standards.
